Carol Pardue-Spears
Founder and Co-Owner

Carol has spent the past forty years working in the healthcare field and has dedicated her life to caring for others. As a C.N.A. she worked on El Camino Hospital’s cardiac unit, Los Gatos Community Hospital, and several home health and hospice agencies, as well as at The Women’s Cancer Center in Los Gatos and for a neurology office in other capacities. Jacob Laffen
CEO and Co-Owner

Jacob has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and over a dozen years of experience working in healthcare, but his passion for working with older adults is rooted in his younger years. He had a close relationship with his grandparents, Marlene, Ron, Shirley and Gene, as well as with his great-grandmother Hazel. His experiences while growing up taught him to respect and delight in the wealth of life experiences that older adults can share, and he attributes his love for his work to what he learned while helping care for Marlene and Ron during the latter stages of their cancer. Since 2008 he has been volunteering as a Big Brother for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Jacob and his wife Michelle have two children, Mason and Adalyn. He also enjoys reading, exercising, and travel.
