3 Tips To Make Spring Cleaning A Breeze

If you are like us, you are sometimes so busy that maintaining your home environment takes a back seat. However, studies show that having a clean, organized environment can make you more cheerful and less stressed.

Here are some tips on how to make spring cleaning a cinch for you and your family:

Throw one thing away each day: Imagine if you threw out one thing that was cluttering your house each day for 365 days each year. Your home would be filled with only the things you need and those that enhance your life. Give it a try, and you’ll be surprised how quickly your house (or purse, or desk…) gets de-cluttered without you even trying.

Make it fun: Enlist the help of your children, and give a prize for whoever has the cleanest room. Put on some music and get some exercise as you run around the house straightening up. Make it fun, and the time will go by before you know it.

Prioritize: When you are cleaning, it is easy to get caught up taking a trip down memory lane – looking at all of the photo albums as you clean your bookshelf can be tempting! Make a list of the areas you could clean that would have the biggest impact, and stay focused on those areas.
