Meet Our New Blogger, Koko Kawasaki!

Formerly a graphic designer, Koko returned to school to study psychology, and then shifted towards graduate studies in gerontology as she faced challenges as a family caregiver to her aging parents. In working with older adults, Koko’s experiences include providing case management services and administering cognitive training activities to individuals living independently in their homes. Koko’s personal and professional interests include healthy aging, aging in place, and exploring lifelong creative potential. On her free time, Koko enjoys spending time with her husband and her cats, going for long walks in nature, and traveling.

Koko will be blogging for Family Matters In-Home Care from now on; keep an eye out for her posts!
