Trustworthy, attentive and family-oriented home care agency. 5 stars for reliability, safety and compassion toward their patients. Pricing is high but we used a more inexpensive vendor prior to going with FMIC and you really do get what you pay for. Book keeping is important if you are utilizing long-term insurance … FMIC was excellent in this area. From the caregiver side … how the vendors treat the employees they send into your home is important. Caregivers who don’t feel like they are treated fairly and valued by their employer won’t work for their patients. My family was looking for an able caregiver who would attend to my mother with love and humanity. We found a true gem in the CNA that FMIC provided us. We used FMIC for 2 years, same caregiver the whole time.

I can’t say enough about how Family Matters and their team came to our aid in caring for Mom. Mom didn’t feel she needed care, and needed an experienced care giver to fit her needs. Family Matters pared her with our amazing Gail, and the match was made in heaven. They were responsive and caring, reliable and informative. We couldn’t have asked for a better match! Thank you Family Matters, I would definitely recommend your service to those wanting the BEST care for a loved one, even those who feel they don’t need care!!!They are able to handle all aspects with finesse.

My sincerest thanks to Family Matters for their professionalism and compassion during a difficult time. They provided two amazing caregivers for our mother during the last few months of her life. Claudia & Fanta’s love and dedication surpassed any and all expectations. They had that special touch that only people who really care can give. They provided extreme comfort, love and support during a very hard time. Thank you for all your kindness that you extended to me and my family while taking care of my mother. We appreciate you all so very much! Thank you again and God bless you.

Family Matters gave us great personalized and caring attention. Marcus and Jacob always responded to our needs and questions. I feel they treated the caregiver they provided with respect and concern as well. Something else that was so important to us was their timely and competent control of paperwork related to insurance matters. Thank you to Family Matters!

Family Matters is the best in home care you could ask for. We interviewed a number of care agencies in San Jose and nothing compared to Family Matters. From the initial interview with James all throughout the service, we were impressed. My grandparents 81 and 86 years old have different needs. My grandmother has Alzheimer’s and can be combative. My grandfather is extremely reluctant to care but really needs it. James paired them with caretakers who really fit their needs. Eventually, my grandmother needed full time care in a nursing home but we still had a caretaker through Family Matters keep her company there. Grandfather loved the caretakers even though he was resistant at first. We changed our schedules many many times as our needs changed and James accommodated them within a day. Amazing! My grandparents ended up needing to move away from San Jose so we needed to stop the service. A few weeks after we stopped the service, grandmother needed a passport. James was my first call. He assigned a caretaker who used to be my grandmothers so it was a familiar face. She’s amazing. We got a medical transport company to transport her with the caretaker who helped us at the passport office. Thank you, Family Matters for making this difficult transition so much better!

Carol and her family/team at Family Matters have truly been a blessing to me and my family. Her excellent caregivers provided care for my elderly mother following surgery and a seizure, and also for my disabled brother. As I was entering the “unknown” in finding good in-home care for my family, Carol provided a real sense of security, as well as great knowledge about what was required. She provided kind and compassionate professionals, and I know I can rely on Carol and her team in the future. I highly recommend Family Matters.

Family Matters – the name says it all. Family owned company who strives to ensure the family as well as the patient is taking care of. I’ve referred several of my patients to this company and I’ve never heard any negative feedback. I feel safe referring my patients to this company because i know they will take care of them as if they were their own family members. Definitely my number one choice of preferred home care providers. Refer your patients/family members! You wont be disappointed!

My family was referred to Family Matters by a friend when my great grandmother was going through some health troubles. Unsure of the process of senior care, Family Matters put us at ease. They found my Gigi a wonderful match with Marcus. He helped transition her from the hospital to her own home. Family Matters was dependable and very compassionate about the process. For anyone who is hesitant about leaving a loved one’s care in the hands of another I highly recommend the staff at Family Matters.

Family Matters was recommended to me, and my father, who oversee some of the care decisions for a client my dad has known for many years. They were able to come in at just the right time to provide care around the clock, seven days a week. I can’t stress enough, what an invaluable service they provide. They have allowed our client to remain in the comfort and familiarity of his home safely. Not to mention maintaining the closeness and accessibility to family, friends, and activities. The caregivers are exceptional, truly caring for his well-being, safety and helping him navigate through his struggles with Alzheimer’s. The care manager Linda Pardue has been excellent at managing the care. She is available at all times, visiting and spending time with him weekly if not several days a week just like close family. Thank you, Family Matters for all you do thank you so much for keeping this extraordinary, deserving man in the place he wants to be.
